Welcome To SVV[]

This page serves as a hub for the players of the game (made by the players for the players), both new and old. Here we share our thoughts and theories, monitor our overall progress, and active opticals and archive puzzles.

Summary[]

This ARG centers around Applicants joining the S.V.V. or Sodalitas Vulturis Volantis. Which roughly translates to the Brotherhood of the Flying Vulture or Brotherhood of the [ill-omened] Eagle. Vultur Volans is the name of the star Altair/Alta’ir. Altair is the brightest star in the constellation of Aquila and the twelfth-brightest star in the night sky. It has the Bayer designation Alpha Aquilae, which is Latinised from α Aquilae and abbreviated Alpha Aql or α Aql. Altair is an A-type main-sequence star with an apparent visual magnitude of 0.77 (the number 7 is a core theme of this ARG) and is one of the vertices of the Summer Triangle asterism (Wikipedia). Altair seems to be a central theme to this ARG.

S.V.V. is apparently an "outer order" of the Department of Convolution, which is using the internet to find recruits. Something they don't typically do. The S.V.V. [excerpt] explains more about their "Order".

Applicants are apparently put through a series of tests, some are puzzles, while others are individualized tasks. A player has found an object in Northern San Diego after going to the location of a tweet; another object was found in a library in Zurich. Unknown objects/clues may be at other locations @svulturvolans has tweeted.

Seven items - RFID Cards, like a credit card with a chip your phone can scan & read - were scattered around the globe, 3 of them were found and scanned by players, that pulled up an encoded message which when decoded lead to hidden URLs on humanisbeing (the majority of URL’s in general remain to be found/seen or crawled, as both site maps & web crawlers reveal inaccurate results and most pages don’t seem to have SEO options). Known locations of the RFID cards were Paris, France; Scotland, Italy, Ensenada, Mexico, Melbourne, Australia, Los Angeles, USA, and Arizona, USA. Supposedly $7,777 remains to be uncovered when all RFID cards are found and the remaining puzzles solved.

After Applicants pass the first couple of tests they are "Knighted", moved from “Infante”, and given a "Name". Each Name corresponds to one of the 72 Names of God according to a Kabbalistic tradition. Players are asked to "transmit" their Name, after which it is added to the chart at humanisbeing.com/72.
