The twitter profile https://twitter.com/svulturvolans was one of the initial sources of clues for this ARG. Twitter was one of the more active Trailheads but 90% of posts were removed following the kidnapping of Maria Padhalia by an ARG player in July of 2017, and a series of livestreams on her Facebook by the kidnapper showcasing his victim (the ARG creators girlfriend) tied up and forced to listen to strange audio recordings blasting on repeat in the background. This culminated in what appeared to be an FBI raid and the possible death of the kidnapper (audio implied gunshots & what appeared to be blood on a rescuer’s suit was visible before the camera was shut down).
As for Twitter, Douglas Rushkoff reposted or retweeted some of svulturvolans tweets of a scanned document in an unknown script/language that has yet to be deciphered.
Some players wrongfully believe Twitter is the main source of the ARG due to YouTube videos providing misinformation. Trailheads and participation took place within various platforms: LinkedIN, Facebook, email, an iOS and Android mobile APP, members platforms, .com and .onion websites, and in IRC chat servers.
Following the use of Twitter some links or puzzles led either from the Twitter to websites or from these websites back to the Twitter, or YouTube channel of OLD WVLF; some websites linked from Twitter were oldwvlf.com, humanisbeing.com, departmentofconvolution..com, azoicoak.com, and some pornography websites. Only oldwvlf & humanisbeing remain online.
The Twitter eventually had a deleted post that led participants to Infantes.Humanisbeing.com [https://infantes.humanisbeing.com Infantes.humanisbeing.com] where they could apply for membership.

the image is roman numerals: CDXLII: 442 --> probably pointed to oldwvlf.com/442 the page has since been changed to oldwvlf.com/442-2. The page is still password protected (pw: 442) and it had a text in theban script which translated to:

The Twitter has posted coordinates. Some of which have been visited. Sometimes the coordinates are posted, and then a strange message is sent to random players, and the coordinates are taken down. Presumably after they've been visited.
